Day 31: Adam Driver in your food truck
On Monday, Annie S. asked an intriguing question:
Imagine you are operating a very hip and popular food truck. Every day, when you open for business, you are instantly overrun - lines forming, chaos encroaching, etc. Luckily you are not in the food truck by yourself. You get to work alongside a trusted co-captain. My question is: which celebrity (or could be a family member or team member) would you choose to work with in a very popular, potentially frenzied food truck environment?
Here’s Lisa S.’s answer, for which I have much respect:
Re the food truck, it's really embarrassing but my answer for all "if you had to X with a celebrity" scenarios right now is: Adam Driver. He's physically capable, seems smart and (even better) pretty thoughtful, is very nice to look at, works hard, probably has great ideas about nutrition I guess? And he definitely wouldn't put up with anyone's rude attitude! He can take orders and direction! He'll probably turn his seething irritation with our demanding customers into an emotionally tortured Oscar-winning role. (Our food truck, sadly, is long failed because I spent all my time ogling him and burned every single turkey patty ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

In other news, here’s the recipe Sarah D.’s makes when she’s anxious—she describes it as “anna jones', vegan, quite store cupboard-y.”
Put the oven onto 425. Chop 2 sweet potatoes into little cubes, a dash of oil, fennel and cumin seeds, salt and pepper, and roast for 25 mins. Chop up an onion, and let it simmer with a little garlic and ginger until it's soft. Add 2 cups of red lentils, a tin of coconut milk and the same tin, filled with veggie stock - bring to a boil then let it simmer for 30 mins. Once it's done, add in a handful of greens like kale (frozen spinach defrosted works well) and the juice of a lemon. I've served it with salt stirred into yoghurt for non-vegan buds, or shredded coconut tossed with fried mustard seeds otherwise. it's delicious and cheap, lasts five years in the fridge.
And finally, Erin T. shared both a playlist and a poem by Frank O’Hara.
Now I am quietly waiting for
the catastrophe of my personality
to seem beautiful again,
and interesting, and modern.
